Google launches an “AI support assistant” in some pages of its help
Googl offers various types of services to its users, which is why a support guide is needed that can be consulted for most problems.
Google has decided to make users’ lives easier by starting to provide them with a new AI support assistant in the help of some products : by visiting the support pages the user may be greeted by a message similar to the following, “Hi, I’m new AI support assistant. Chat with me to find answers and resolve account issues” at the bottom right of the screen.
The company is keen to point out that its “artificial intelligence is still learning” and that “help guidance may show inaccurate results”, furthermore “human reviewers can process your driving conversations for quality purposes”.
Clicking the “let’s talk” button opens a window that can be expanded to full screen and each conversation begins with “Hi, I’m an AI support assistant. You can add details or ask a question” with the text field below. In reality, as you can see from the images in the gallery, most of the services, following the automatic translation of the page into our language, maintain the conversation with the assistant in English, without however allowing you to ask questions, but only allowing you to use the suggested ones from the chatbot.
