In addition to CATL’s Beijing factory, the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission also stated that Li Auto will plan to build a parts production base; Xiaomi Motors’ first model SU7 and Li Auto’s first pure electric model MEGA are both produced in Beijing, and both models are equipped with Kirin batteries from CATL.

Up to now, CATL has deployed a total of 11 production bases in China, located in Fujian, Jiangsu, Qinghai, Sichuan and other places. It also has two major production bases in Hungary and Germany.
