Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series tablets are expected to launch on July 26. South Korean tech is looking to launch the new foldable devices alongside the Watch 6 Series. The Galaxy Tab S9 Series will include three models – Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+ and Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. A new leak by tipster OnLeaks and Media Peanut has revealed the design of the upcoming Samsung Android tablet from all sides.
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE is also set to have a design similar to its predecessor, with some minor improvements. Leaked design renders, specifications, and other details give us a glimpse of what to expect from this mid-range Android tablet.
Leaked Design Renders
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE SE is expected to be a mid-range Android tablet by Samsung, scheduled for release this July. Early leaks from tipster OnLeaks and Media Peanut reveal that the tablet will feature a flat design, with rounded corners and a flat rear panel.
The rear panel shows a magnetic strip below the camera sensor ring, but there doesn’t seem to be an LED flash module in the design renders. Unlike its larger Plus-sized sibling, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will have a single rear camera, without a dual-camera setup.
Display and Features
The Galaxy Tab S9 SE will sport a 10.9-inch display, although it’s unclear whether it will be an IPS LCD or an OLED panel. Given its mid-range positioning, an IPS LCD panel is more likely. The tablet will have noticeable bezels on all sides, with the front camera sensor placed in the centre of the longer bezel on the right side.
Additionally, the tablet will include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a smart connector, and a dual-speaker setup. The USB Type-C port can be seen at the bottom, while the volume rocker and power button are located on the right edge.
Specifications and Software
According to the latest information, the Galaxy Tab S9 FE will come with a 254.3 x 165.8 x 6.7mm in size. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by an Exynos 1380 SoC. The tablet will likely come with at least 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It is anticipated to run on One UI 5.1, based on Android 13.
