Google is working on the December Feature Drop, with several new features for the Pixel series smartphones and also for the Pixel Watch smartwatches. The company has updated the Personal Emergencies app, equipping its watches with new tiles for emergencies.
Google Pixel Watches brings a new tiles for emergencies
Two new tiles designed for emergencies are now available on Google Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 thanks to an update to the Personal Emergencies app, available on the Google Play Store.
They basically consist of shortcuts to quickly launch emergency sharing or security control , as you can see in the screenshots below: we have two colored buttons (red and yellow) to launch these features without having to search within the list of the applications on board the Wear OS smartwatch . Obviously, the emergency gesture linked to multiple pressing of the button on the crown of the smartwatch also remains available
The Feature Drop of December 2023 some new features have also arrived for Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2, which include Call Screen, a call filter that allows users to ignore unwanted calls or find out who is calling directly from your wrist, and Watch Unlock for unlocking your Pixel smartphone.
