HMD Global is now all set to launch a new phone under the Nokia brand for the last few years. Now, a new mystery HMD smartphone has now been spotted online. The supposed render of the smartphone shows it with a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 108MP camera sensor.
HMD Global Working on a 108MP Camera Smartphone
The latest HMD Global smartphone leak is coming from Suomimobiili, a Finnish online publication. It has shared a product render of an HMD smartphone claimed to have been taken from the official website.
The leaked render shows a woman sitting over a Cyan-coloured smartphone. It has HMD branding on the back. The phone can be seen with a dual rear camera setup along with a Cyan accent around the camera rings. One can also notice the “108MP OIS” badging on the rear camera module. This suggests that the phone is headlined by a 108MP camera sensor with optical image stabilization support.
In a separate leak, last week tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) had shared codenames for the first batch of HMD-branded smartphones on X. These are claimed to be Pulse, Legend, Pulse+, Legend Plus, Pulse Pro, and Legend Pro. The leaked smartphone may bear one of these codenames.
Reports have suggested that HMD Global will target budget and mid-range segments in the beginning. Its smartphones are tipped to offer a stock Android experience out of the box and deliver more OS updates than the competition.
