According to reports, the hydrogen logistics vehicle delivered this time was developed and manufactured by Hyundai Commercial Vehicles (China) Co., Ltd. and equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell system produced by HTWO Guangzhou.
This demonstration project will become the largest hydrogen energy demonstration operation project in the country, including 500 hydrogen fuel cell vehicles. This batch of demonstration products is mainly 4.5-ton hydrogen fuel cell logistics vehicles, and also includes 4.5-ton refrigerated trucks, sweepers, public buses and many other products involving hydrogen fuel cell application scenarios.
In June 2023, Hyundai Motor Hydrogen Fuel Cell System (Guangzhou) Co., Ltd. (HTWO Guangzhou) was completed. This is Hyundai Motor’s first overseas hydrogen fuel cell R&D, production, and sales base .
Nissan’s Venucia’s first hydrogen fuel cell vehicle Venucia Big V Hydrogen Realm will also start commercial demonstration operations in Huadu District, Guangzhou in January next year. It will be used as a park shuttle bus and official vehicle. Car etc.
According to the “Guangdong Action Plan to Accelerate the Construction of Fuel Cell Vehicle Demonstration City Clusters 2021-2025”, by 2025, Guangdong will build 200 hydrogenation stations, supply more than 100,000 tons of hydrogen annually, and the price of vehicle hydrogen terminals will drop to 30 yuan/ kilograms or less to achieve the goal of promoting more than 10,000 fuel cell vehicles.
