Microsoft has recently launched the new Surface Laptop Studio 2, Surface Laptop Go 3, and Surface Go 4. The team is said to be working on the Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 with an expected launch in 2024. Both these models are reported to bring significant upgrades over their predecessors
Microsoft Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6 Specifications Leaked
According to the latest information from Zac Bowden (Windows Central), Microsoft plans for the upcoming Surface Pro 10 and Surface Laptop 6. The report says it will be the first time we will see both Surface Pro and Surface Laptop models launch in Intel and ARM variants. Microsoft is further planning to market these laptops as its “first true next-gen AI PCs”. These will reportedly come with a next-gen Neural Processing Unit aka NPU.
The ARM variant of these new laptops will be powered by a custom version of Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X Series chips. The Snapdragon X Elite chip is manufactured using the 4nm TSMC fabrication process and boasts 12 high-performance Oryon cores. It is claimed to be capable enough to beat 13th Gen Intel CPUs and Apple’s M2 chips. These new ARM PCs are internally referred to as CADMUS PCs by the team. They will also come packed with many of the AI features Microsoft is planning for the next major Windows upgrade i.e. Hudson Valley.

The Surface Pro 10 is tipped to come with several display-related changes. It will have rounded display corners and a new anti-reflective coating.
The display panel resolution will continue to be 2880 x 1920 pixels for higher-end variants. The team is said to be testing a lower resolution i.e. 2160 x 1440 pixels panel for lower-end variants.
The Surface Pro 10 is further said to arrive with a new Type Cover accessory featuring a dedicated Copilot button. There could also be new colour options for the next-gen laptop.
