HMD is planning to launch the new smartphones in the market. Now, according to the latest listing from the Geekbench database, the upcoming smartphone code names are Legend and LegendPro. Based on benchmark listings, the upcoming handsets appear to be budget-segment products.
Geekbench Listing Info
As per the info, the HMD Legend scored 379 and 1,370 points in the single-core and multi-core rounds, respectively of the Geekbench 6.2 benchmark test. Whereas the HMD Legend Pro grabbed 373 and 1,384 points in the single-core and multi-core rounds, respectively.
The HMD Legend and LegendPro Geekbench listings reveal the presence of an octa-core processor with a 1.6GHz peak frequency. These listings also suggest that processors on these devices will come with integrated Mali G57 GPU.
Based on these, the upcoming HMD Legend and LegendPro could be powered by a UniSoC T606 chipset. This is the same chipset that powers the Infinix Smart 8 HD, the Tecno Spark Go 2024, and the itel P55+.
As per the benchmark listings, the HMD Legend and LegendPro will be equipped with 4GB and 8GB of RAM, respectively. These handsets will ship with the latest version of Android, that is Android 14.
One thing to note is here that other details remain unknown and we will have to wait for official details to get a proper idea about the upcoming phones. HMD, earlier this month, announced its plan to drop the Nokia branding and revealed that HMD is a short abbreviation of Human Mobile Devices. The brand is expected to unveil its range of smartphones at MWC which commences on February 26.
