The brand, Nothing, known for its innovative products, recently teased the launch of their upcoming Nothing Ear (3) TWS earbuds. But it seems they have more in store. Reports suggest the company, Nothing, is working on the Phone 3, which will boast the latest Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Let’s delve into what we know about this new smartphone.
Phone 3 Features
According to a report by 91mobiles Hindi, industry insiders have disclosed that the Nothing Phone 3 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. This chip, recently featured in the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, offers high performance and efficiency.
The general public expects the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 to power several smartphones in China. It includes the Redmi Turbo 3, Realme GT Neo 6, and iQOO Z9 Turbo, among others. While it’s unclear if these phones will hit global markets, the company has rebranded the Redmi Turbo 3 as the Poco F6 outside of China. And potentially posing competition to the Nothing Phone 3.
Pricing
Unfortunately, details beyond the chipset remain scarce. However, reports suggest that the Nothing will price the upcoming smart phone between Rs 40,000 ($480) and Rs 45,000 ($540) in India.
The teaser released by the brand features a frog, following the pear and octopus teasers for Phone 1 and Phone 2, respectively. This hints at the quirky branding strategy Nothing is known for. The Phone 3 is anticipated to be unveiled in July, although an exact date has yet to be confirmed.
