OnePlus has recently added two devices to its portfolio namely – Ace 2 and Ace 2V in 2023. Now, the company is looking to add one more product with the name OnePlus Ace 2 Pro. Under the hood, the device is already confirmed to debut with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
OnePlus has now officially confirmed the launch of its new OnePlus Ace 2 Pro and the company said this new smartphone will launch in China in August 2023. Unfortunately, the exact launch date is still unknown.
For your information, the upcoming OnePlus Ace series device is limited to China but they are rebranded for other markets with different marketing names.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro launch details
The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is confirmed to launch in August. Since the brand has officially started teasing the phone, we can expect more details, including a launch date, to be revealed in the next few days.
OnePlus Ace 2 Pro expected specifications
- Display: The upcoming device is said to come with a 6.74-inch curved-edged OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
- Chipset: Under the hood, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC
- GPU: Adreno GPU.
- RAM: 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
- Cameras: 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor with OIS, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor.
- Front Camera: 16MP front camera.
- Battery: The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro is rumoured to pack a 5,000mAh battery with 150W fast charging support.
There are chances the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro might share similar specifications as the Realme GT 5 (earlier GT Neo 6). Besides the powerful chipset, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will come with brand new features to help users from getting their devices too hot. They’ve designed an innovative 3D cooling system, which is usually used in the aerospace industry. This system will cover a large area of about 9,140 square mm to keep the phone cool even during heavy use.
