OPPO has recently released the Android 14 update to the Reno10 Pro+ and OPPO Reno8 Pro 5G smartphones. Now, the company has started rolling out the latest Android 14 update to the Reno8 Pro 5 and Oppo Pad 2 devices.
The new features are those that we have started to learn about in recent weeks and include improvements for the Aquamorphic Design, improvements for colors, sounds, interactions and animations, a new Always-On Display screen, the Smart Touch function, the new File Dock, improvements general to the stability and efficiency of the system and beyond.
OPPO has also revamped its Trinity Engine to improve resource management. The update started in India, but should spread globally within a few days.
Similar update for OPPO Pad 2 , which welcomes Android 14 in China with ColorOS 14 in the official version. We don’t have a changelog, but the changes should be similar to those mentioned above for the Reno range smartphone.
OPPO Pad 2 Specifications
The tablet was launched with a 11.61-inch touchscreen display offering a resolution of 2000×2800 pixels at a pixel density of 296 pixels per inch (ppi). Oppo Pad 2 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor. It comes with 8GB of RAM. The Oppo Pad 2 runs Android 13 and is powered by a 9,510mAh non-removable battery.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Oppo Pad 2 on the rear packs 13-megapixel camera. It sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfies.
The Oppo Pad 2 runs ColorOS 13 is based on Android 13 and packs 256GB of inbuilt storage. The Oppo Pad 2 measures 258.30 x 189.39 x 6.54mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 552.00 grams. It was launched in Hikari Feather Gold and Nebula Gray colours.
