Another piece of information from American automaker Tesla is that the company added the Cybertruck Delivery Event. Whereby it invites its owners to respective referral awards programs. However, the date of this event is not shared yet.
It has been observed that Tesla took a long break from its referral program last from a few years. It was restarted last year for solar products and last quarter for cars respectively.
In this program, buyers who are using referral codes get incentives in the form of discounts and free features. Also, Tesla owners who are referring new buyers have received ‘’Tesla credit points” that they can redeem for “awards”. This would include free Supercharger miles, Cybertruck raffle entry, accessories, and more.
Therefore, as a part of this program, today, Tesla added new awards. This comprises one year of Premium Connectivity or an invitation to attend the forthcoming Cybertruck Delivery Event in Austin, Texas.
Tesla sent an email to its customers, in whereby they wrote:
“Cybertruck Delivery Event invite redemptions are first come, first served and are valid for you and one friend. Space is limited. If you miss your chance to claim, check back later—additional tickets will be released as the event approaches.”
The automaker appraised the invitation significantly high. It’s considered to be one of the most costly awards at 30,000 points. Additionally by comparing the points with respect to accessory costs. It would value the Cybertruck delivery event invite at about $2,500. Instead of selling invites for points, the automaker not revealing the date so far.
CEO Elon Musk earlier stated that he forecasts Tesla to hold the event around the end of Q3, the same going to end in September. Since we already reported recently, it seems to be a good sign that Tesla is getting ready for the start of Cybertruck production.
