It seems like Tesla is keeping its trolling on competitor’s pickup trucks. As earlier, another similar happening came into light recently whereby Cybertruck wrapped to look like another pickup. This time, the candidate on which the wrap is done, in order to imitate look like a Cybertruck is a Toyota Tundra.
It confused many of us about the Cybertruck in the limelight that tends to depict a new wrap. While it made it look like a Ford F-150. In addition to this, the Cybertruck with the F-150 wrap was spotted publicly on the street in California. It is supposed to be part of Tesla’s test and validation program for the electric pickup truck.
However, at this point in time, the motive is not clear. While the preassumption is that Tesla teasing Ford with the wrap on the electric pickup truck. CEO Elon Musk has frequently spoken about his frustration with pickup truck designs. On the same, he says “haven’t changed much in 30 years.” He mentioned at the time of justifying the Cybertruck’s radical design.
Moving ahead, a second Tesla Cybertruck wrapped. And made it seem like another brand’s pickup was spotted in the wild via the Cybertruck Owners Club. Through this action, it is clear that the American giant tried to make the wrap look like a Toyota Tundra.

Notably, when speaking about the Tundra, it is one of the best-selling pickups in the US, with approximately 100,000 units per year. Tesla has not used wrap on prototype vehicles. On the other hand, when it comes to Cybertruck, it has been using wraps frequently.
Wraps are a good alternative to change the color of the Cybertruck. Since it is good to go, in order to be offered with its stainless steel finish. So far it is also not clear that Tesla will offer factory wraps or any other third parties hands over the market. It is also being predicted that Tesla might be testing its Cybertruck candidates by wrapping it before its official launch.
Meanwhile, Tesla is expected to debut the production version of the Cybertruck at its delivery event which is estimated to happen at the end of September.
