One of the new features implemented in these hours is represented by the possibility of pinning a message to the top of the chat list for a maximum of 30 days .
To take advantage of this new feature, users will have to long press on a message and tap “Pin”: the default duration is seven days but there is the possibility of changing it to 24 hours or 30 days.
A new update for WhatsApp Beta
In the past few hours, the WhatsApp developer team has also released version 2.23.26.9 beta of the app for Android and thanks to this release we discover that among the new features arriving there is also the possibility of pinning more messages.
In practice, users should be able to navigate through pinned messages (it appears there will be a limit to the number of messages that can be pinned, to ensure a balance between functionality and simplicity in the chat interface).
