Xiaomi HyperOS was introduced last year in October as the company’s new OS for smartphones. The new OS comes with under-the-hood improvements for apps, AI features, and minor UI tweaks.
Xiaomi HyperOS rollout starts
Xiaomi has officially announced on X (Twitter) that HyperOS will start rolling out. This is an over-the-air update so it will gradually reach all eligible users. The first phase of HyperOS rollout has eight devices in the pool. Xiaomi said that release plans for other models will be announced at a later date.

HyperOS brings smoother animations, faster boot times for apps, and longer retention of apps in the background memory.
HyperOS also comes with AI features including AI-generated text through Xiaoai Input Assistant. AI-powered features such as the ability to capture text on Photos, convert doodles into paintings are also available on HyperOS.
It also better connectivity on smartphones with the ability to share your mobile data with other devices, and receive notifications on big-screen devices.
