YouTube Music team is working on new features for the music streaming service and is now adding some new features for the web version.
YouTube Music gets offline playback
The web version of YouTube Music lacked offline music playback, but a new download button now lets you download songs, playlists, and podcasts to continue listening without an internet connection, like on the mobile app.
To save music for offline use, simply open an album or single page and click on the download button located between the three-dot menu and the save to library button.
Offline web downloads will be limited to 10 YouTube Music devices, and like the mobile app, offline downloads will expire if the device doesn’t connect to the internet at least once every 30 days. At the moment this functionality is not yet available to everyone.
