The electric model is undoubtedly a G-Class, that demonstrates design features similar to that found in the lineup. This comes with additional modern upgrades for the EV era. While, two years after its debut, Kallenius confirmed at IAA Mobility 2023 in Munich, that the existing model is getting a little brother.

Also in the great and longtime leadership of Dieter Zetsche, who served until 2019. The rumors revolved around that the brand wanted to release a budget-friendly version. Therefore, as per Kallenius, the time is now. The report mentions that the forthcoming smaller electric variant could go by “g-Class” with a small “g.”
It will be built on a corely electric powertrain variant. While it could be a combination of the forthcoming MMA and MB.EA platforms. Kallenius is promising to bring a fun driving experience with AWD promising to be a guarantee.
