According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple may skip the M3 version of the Mac mini and switch to the more powerful M4 chip.
Gurman has previously said that Apple plans to release new Mac mini models equipped with M4 and M4 Pro chips ” in late 2024 to early 2025. ” Now he has further confirmed that with the new Mac mini arriving as soon as the end of this year, there will not be enough space to “launch M3 models” before then, so these Mac models will skip the M3 generation.
