Apple is now coming up with some exciting changes to enhance the shopping experience for its customers at Apple retail stores. Soon, the company will provide a better option for new customers when buying a product. Instead of having customers carry the product home themselves, Apple store employees will now be able to provide home delivery as a convenient alternative.
Apple EasyPay Online Ordering program
According to Mark Gurman, this new service called EasyPay Online Ordering program will be rolled out to stores in August. It seems like this move towards offering home delivery shipments in-store might indicate a larger strategy shift for Apple.
Earlier, Apple store employees could only suggest that customers make their purchases online or assist them in placing orders on the website then and there.
By shifting more customer sales to home delivery, Apple stores of the future may be able to reduce the amount of backroom space needed to hold stock. This change also brings added convenience for customers, especially when buying larger devices like an iMac. Instead of carrying it out of the store, customers can simply have it shipped directly to their homes.
Gurman also stated that this new shipping option may play a significant role in the rollout of Vision Pro. Since Vision Pro offers several combinations of accessories, such as headbands and light seals, tailored to each user’s head size, it becomes impractical for Apple stores to stock everything. However, with the support of shipping delivery, Apple stores can still fulfil Vision Pro sales, even if they don’t have all the parts in stock at the moment.
Meanwhile, Apple’s move to introduce home delivery as an option for customers reflects their commitment to improving the shopping experience and adapting to changing consumer needs. By giving customers more flexibility in how they receive their purchases, Apple is taking a step forward in ensuring customer satisfaction and convenience.
