Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S24 smartphone in January 2024. Now some news has emerged online regarding the customization of the device.
Galaxy S24 and One UI 6.1 Key information
Samsung plans to present the new Galaxy S24 during the usual Galaxy Unpacked event. Over the past few weeks, the first information on the Korean company’s future top-of-the-range devices has emerged online and we can already begin to summarize what we can expect.
The watchword for the new Samsung Galaxy S24 will be artificial intelligence , which will play a fundamental role during 2024, starting with the new update to One UI 6.1.
We already know what some of the AI functions that Samsung will introduce on the new devices will be, and that these will be possible thanks to the use of a special chip placed next to the CPU. However, a new leak reveals what could be the new customization possibilities offered by One UI 6.1, specifically regarding the wallpapers.
One UI 6.1 will focus even more on customization
A new image posted on X by a well-known Samsung leaker hints at new wallpaper services. The image does not give us much information, but we can assume that it could be a new function introduced in the new One UI update which allows you to generate wallpapers using artificial intelligence.
Something similar has already been proposed by Google in the recent Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro , becoming a pioneer of what, starting next year, could become something that most manufacturers will begin to offer on their devices.
We remind you that the Samsung Galaxy S24 will be launched at the beginning of 2024 and that the update to One UI 6.1, with all the features connected to it, will then arrive on other smartphones from the Korean giant. In the coming weeks we will certainly be inundated with other information that will allow us to create an even more precise picture of what the company will offer us in the months to come.
