Honor is expected to release its new foldable smartphone at the upcoming IFA 2023. According to the latest information, the company will launch its Honor Magic V2 in the global market, which is currently only available in China. The other foldable will be announced by Honor at the IFA 2023 event on 1st September 2023.
As per the official poster, the company is all set to participate in the upcoming IFA 2023 Event in Berlin.
Honor Magic V2 To Release Globally
The Honor Magic V2 design looks different from its parent company’s Mate series devices. It is the thinnest book-style foldable available to date with just 9.9mm thickness.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Honor Magic V2 foldable was launched with a 7.92-inch AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz in China.
Under the hood, the Honor Magic V2 foldable phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with 16GB of RAM. This SoC demand is at its peak as it is currently installed in several devices including Samsung, Oneplus and more. The device runs on MagicOS 7.2 based on Android 13. The global variant is expected to have support for GApps, as Honor is not affected by the US sanctions imposed on Huawei.
For optics, Honor Magic V2 was launched with a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary sensor that comes with OIS. The secondary camera is a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and the third camera is a 20MP sensor with 2.5X optical zoom. The selfie camera is a 16MP sensor with support for HDR.
It packs a 5000mAh battery, which supports 66W wires fast charging. The device also comes with wireless charging support. Connectivity options on the phone are 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and an infrared sensor. The device does not have a headphone jack.

As per the latest rumor, this new foldable will be a flip phone by Honor.
