Honor brings another smartphone in the month of September 2023. The company has officially launched the Honor X40 GT Racing Edition as the third smartphone in the lineup.
This new smartphone joins the Honor X40 and Honor X40 GT that were announced last year. The new Racing Edition is the same as the vanilla X40 GT but gets a different specifications and colour options.
Honor X40 GT Racing Edition
The Honor X40 GT Racing Edition smartphone is launched with a 6.81-inch Full HD+ (2388 x 1080 pixels) TFT LCD punch-hole display with up to 144Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor with Adreno 660 GPU.
It comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM paired with 256GB and 512GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage options. For optics, it features a circular camera module consisting of three cameras and an LED flash. It includes a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.2 aperture. It offers EIS, 10x digital zoom, and 4K video recording. The front camera on the phone is a 16MP shooter with f/2.45 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 4,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It is claimed to offer 50% charge within just 15 minutes.
