According to the latest information from 9to5Mac, mobile carriers in the US have been asking employees not to take a day off on September 13th due to a major smartphone announcement. However, the iPhone maker may face a possible delay in the new iPhones, according to a recent report.
Apple is reportedly facing issues that could push the launch ahead to Q4, which would fall between October and December. Reports also suggest the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models will be available in limited quantities at launch.
The company will reportedly do away with the Lightning connector, introducing USB-C to its handset for the first time, and it will also introduce a more powerful camera for its Pro models. In addition, in some parts of the world, the company could allow app sideloading.
The iPhone 15 and 15 Plus models are expected to be powered by the A16 Bionic chip. On the other hand, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max models are expected to feature the new A17 chip.
