iQOO is now looking to launch the iQOO Z9 Turbo in China as its launch date has been officially announced. The handset will break the covers in China on April 24th. The handset will come with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and will look to take on the Redmi Turbo 3 and the Realme GT Neo 6, which also have the same chipset.
The handset is already confirmed to ship with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which was announced recently. The teaser image posted by the brand shows a design similar to the iQOO 12.
iQOO Z9 Turbo specifications (tipped)
The iQOO Z9 Turbo is tipped to launch oa 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K panel, a 144Hz refresh rate, a 2160Hz PWM dimming, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 could be paired with 12GB/16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The handset is likely to run on Android 14-based OriginOS 4 custom skin out of the box. The iQOO Z9 Turbo is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with OIS and an 8MP secondary sensor. There could be a 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
The iQOO Z9 Turbo will be equipped with an “independent graphics chip Turbo” and 6K VC heat dissipation.
