LG has launched its QNED 83 Series TV with a new display panel that offers the combined power of Quantum Dot and Nano-cell technologies.
According to the official information, the new TVs have a resolution of 4K by default and are certified with Dolby Vision. They also have a refresh rate of 120Hz. Pricing for the new LG QNED 83 TVs starts at Rs 1,59,990 for the 55-inch model. There’s also a 65-inch variant which is priced at Rs 2,19,990.

The new QNED 83 TVs have a Quantum Dot Nano-cell display panel, which was showcased by LG at CES 2024. The panel comes with local dimming, which is controlled using deep-learning algorithms for a realistic visual experience.
The QNED 83 TV sets are available in two sizes, the 55-inch variant has the model number 55QNED83SRA and the 65-inch variant has the model number 65QNED83SRA.
The TVs are also equipped with an alpha-7 Gen6 AI processor, which helps in scaling and optimising the video output. This chipset also helps in AI Picture Pro and AI Sound Pro features, to support Virtual 5.1.2 channel output. The TV also supports a Multi-View feature, where users can see video output from two different sources at the same time, in either side-by-side mode or picture-in-picture.
The new LG TVs come with WebOS, enabling smart connectivity. A variety of apps can be directly used on the TV such as Disney+Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Apple TV, and more.
