Samsung Galaxy S24 series has not yet been launched, but in recent weeks most of the features that the Korean giant’s new devices should boast have been revealed. From a software point of view, Samsung Galaxy S24 will be able to count on the One UI 6.1 interface, based on Android 14, which should be full of features related to artificial intelligence , including one that should take care of battery health.
Galaxy S24 software gem has been discovered
According to what was announced in the last few hours by Tarun Vats on X, with One UI 6.1 the ” Protect battery ” function becomes ” Battery protection “, with more options.
In particular, users will be able to rely on the following three options:
- Basic – stops charging at 100% and resumes at 95%
- Adapt – pauses charging at 80% while users sleep at night and finishes charging before waking up
- Max – stops charging at 80%
According to what has emerged so far, Samsung Galaxy S24 should be equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery while the Plus model should have a 4,900 mAh battery. Finally, as regards the Ultra variant, the battery should have a capacity of 5,000 mAh (as has already happened for the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Galaxy S23 Ultra).
All three of Samsung’s new smartphones are expected to be powered by more energy-efficient chips, and therefore, battery life could be better.
