OnePlus has now confirmed that the OnePlus 12R is set to debut alongside the OnePlus 12 on Jan. 23 for the global market. For those who don’t know, the 12R will be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 3, which is set to launch on Jan. 4 in China.
OnePlus has confirmed that the OnePlus 12R will be available in two shades: Iron Gray and Cool Blue. The device is confirmed to feature an alert slider, which is available on its left edge.
The OnePlus 12R will be released in markets such as India, North America, and Europe. Previously, the “R”-branded OnePlus phones were exclusive to the Indian market

The OnePlus 12R smartphone to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. It is expected to arrive with 8 GB / 16 GB LPDDR5x RAM and 128 GB (UFS 3.1) / 256 GB (UFS 4.0) storage options. It is likely to house a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging support. The 12R will run on OxygenOS 14-based Android 14.
The smartphone will feature a curved-edge OLED panel that measures 6.78 inches. It will offer a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. When it comes to photography, it will be equipped with a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890, OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
