According to the latest information, Qualcomm will hold the Snapdragon Summit at 3 a.m. In addition to releasing the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, it will also launch Snapdragon Seamless, which can achieve a cross-platform device experience.
Qualcomm wants to build a new ecosystem
The function implemented by Snapdragon Seamless technology is similar to Microsoft’s Phone Link, which can realize cross-platform connection between mobile phones and PCs.
Snapdragon Seamless may become a transformative platform that changes the current industry rules and builds Qualcomm’s own closed ecological platform.
According to the leaked promotional images, Snapdragon Seamless covers Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, X Elite, S7 pro sound platform Gen 1 and AR2 Gen 1 head display chips, etc., and partners include Microsoft, Google, OPPO, Honor, Dell and Lenovo.
Snapdragon Seamless serves as a bridge to connect Qualcomm hardware-based OEM (original equipment manufacturer) devices and cross-platform (such as Android and Windows) operating system partners for easier interaction and integration.
