Realme is gearing up to launch its new flagship smartphones on the market consisting of a new batch of the GT range. New rumors have just appeared on the net and concern both the RAM memory allocation and the reload speed, here are the details that have emerged so far and how much we should take them with a grain of salt.
Realme GT 5 will offer up to 24GB of RAM
The president of Realme has officially declared that Realme GT 5 will offer up to 24 GB of RAM. The news obviously caused a sensation but the reality could be slightly different given that for two versions of Android now, the various manufacturers have implemented virtual RAM memory. This allows you to expand the GB of RAM but not physically, virtually. Hypothetically, therefore, it could have 16 GB of physical RAM + 8 GB virtually expandable.
But Realme GT 5 will not be the first smartphone equipped with 24 GB of RAM, since with this technique there are already Redmi K60 Ultra and Red Magic 8S Pro on the market, as well as the upcoming OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
As for autonomy, however, the rumors speak of two different battery variants, one from 4,600 mAh which will support 240W fast charging and one from 5,200 mAh which will support 150W fast charging.
Realme GT 5 specifications (expected)
- 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate.
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip SoC paired with Adreno GPU.
- Up to 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
- Android 13-based Realme UI custom skin out of the box.

- 16MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats.
- 4,600mAh battery with 240W charging and another variant with a 5,200mAh battery and 150W charging.
According to rumors, the heart of the device should be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the storage space should reach 1 TB. The device may come with a 6.74-inch OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
