The South Korean tech giant is currently working with Google and Kakao to improve its gaming experience for Galaxy smartphones. Apart from the new innovations, Samsung is also gearing up to create a new camera sensor for its future Galaxy lineup. Below you can find all the key details.
Samsung is working on a 440MP camera sensor
The South Korean tech giant has recently unveiled its first 200MP camera smartphone in the form of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra which launched earlier this year. Now according to the exclusive report from SamNews24, Samsung is looking to build four new camera sensors – a 50MP ISOCELL GN6 sensor with 1.6-micron pixels, a 200MP HP7 sensor with 0.7-micron pixels, an unnamed 320MP sensor, and a 440MP HU1 sensor.
440MP HU1 sensor: As per the information, this new sensor might be used in smartphones, automotive or industrial. However, interestingly, Samsung had claimed back in 2020 that it was aiming at developing a camera with a resolution equivalent to the human eye, i.e 500MP to 600MP. The 440MP sensor seems a likely possibility taking this into consideration.
