Sony launches a new generation of wearable air conditioner
Sony claims that REON POCKET 5 has a battery life of 7.5 hours in the fourth cooling mode , which is at least 80% higher than the previous generation product released in May last year ; in the third cooling mode, the battery life has also been increased from 7 hours to 10 hours. Hour.
REON POCKET 5 also adds a fifth cooling mode . This mode has a battery life of 4 hours, and the cooling performance is 50% higher than the 4th level of the previous generation product. REON POCKET 5 still has 4-speed heating modes.
REON POCKET series products use the Peltier effect to cool heat, so fans need to be used to discharge waste heat when cooling in hot environments. REON POCKET 5 adopts a new heat dissipation system, which Sony says reduces noise to about 1/5 of the previous generation.
The accompanying REON POCKET TAG sensor has also been updated with software, adding support for direct light detection, thus speeding up the adjustment speed of the intelligent cooling and heating mode by about 50%.
