Now the Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the Vivo X Fold 3 and Vivo X Fold 3 Pro foldable smartphones. The third-generation foldable smartphone will debut as a successor to the Vivo X Fold 2 smartphone.
Vivo X Fold 3 Series Expected Specifications
According to the latest information, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will come with triple rear cameras. The setup will comprise a 50MP primary lens with OIS and is likely to be a Sony LYT 900 sensor. Vivo is also tipped to equip the upcoming Vivo X100 Pro+ smartphone with a similar primary lens.
The leak hints that Vivo will equip the Pro model with a 64MP Omnivision OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The vanilla X Fold 3 will likely sport a regular telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Vivo might equip the smartphone with a 32MP Sony IMX 709 telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom.
Vivo X Fold 3 smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, according to the tipster. The chipset is fabricated on TSMC’s 4nm process and sports one Cortex X3 at 3.2GHz, two Cortex A715 cores at 2.8GHz, three Cortex A510 cores at 2.0GHz, and an Adreno 740 GPU.
The phone will get up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Meanwhile, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC will power the Pro variant of the forthcoming foldable smartphone. The chipset features one Cortex X4 core at 3.3GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores at 3.15GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores at 2.96GHz, two Cortex-A520 cores at 2.26GHz, and an Adreno 750 GPU.
Vivo will equip the inner screen of the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro foldable smartphone with 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
