As per Alef, its flying car can drive 200 miles and can fly 110 miles. Ahead of this month, Alef’s Model A shakes the internet of being the first electric flying car that has got Special Airworthiness Certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration.
It is assumed that its production expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2025, following the same deliveries will be started. For Model A people have already started queueing up for their turn to get one.
Freshly revealed by the company that its first flying electric car pre-ordered reached 2,500 up from 400 at the end of the year. This represents a healthy revenue of $750 million once delivered.
The company’s orders comprise 2,100 deposits from individuals and also agreements with businesses in order to sell 400 cars. This is combinely with a California car dealership. By doing this, Alef now becomes the first in history with pre-orders to sell a modern aircraft via a dealership.
Alef’s CEO, Jim Dukhovny, commented on the milestone, saying:
We’re excited to see such strong initial demand for the Alef flying car. We’re are thankful for the notes of gratitude and inspiration we received with some of the pre-orders. We still have a road to go before starting deliveries, but where we’re going, we don’t need roads.
The Model A is designed to carry one or two passengers, to drive as well as vertical takeoff and landing capabilities.
Model Z
Following the Model A, the company has already planned to come up with a four-person sedan namely “Model Z” by 2035. While this model gives an amazing range of over 300 miles of flying range along with a driving range of 220 miles, that cost around $35,000.
