Apple is looking to choose the new low-cost MacBooks and is expected to launch these in the second-half of 2024. As per the analyst Ming-Chi Kuo the low-cost MacBook models could help boost shipments for the company.
Apple to launch Low-cost MacBooks
According to Kuo, Apple has been facing a decline in MacBook shipments this year due to the limited availability of the M2 chip. Kuo suggests that Apple could go ahead and launch M3-powered MacBooks despite low volume production instead of continuing to sell the M2 models.
If this plan is not performed well then the company will look out at the redesigned MacBook Pro in 2025.
