Google Wallet automatically manages the archiving of tickets once their expiry date has reached, but now – in addition to this function that has been present for some time – the app has added a new option that allows you to manually archive tickets and cards fidelity.
Manually managing Google Wallet storage
If you are a little familiar with Google Wallet , you already know that it is possible to manage tickets and cards in a very simple way: just open the app, tap on the desired card and open the menu at the top right. Scrolling to the bottom of the screen in question, you will find the Remove option , which will be in good company from now on.
In addition to the option that allows you to delete the ticket from Google Wallet, the new Archive item has been introduced , which promises to be quite useful for keeping the main screen in order: think of all those cards and tickets that crowd the home screen of Wallet but which you rarely use, or even travel tickets that Google is taking longer than usual to remove; the function is also convenient for all those tickets that are not automatically archived as they do not have a clearly indicated expiry date. Please note: users can only manually archive cards that have already been saved, while for those added by Gmail , removal remains the only option available.
