The CEO of HTECH has now confirmed that the brand is rolling out eSIM connectivity for HONOR 90, starting with Jio. This functionality was previously unavailable on the smartphone.
Sheth shared two images to show a functioning HONOR 90 smartphone with Jio’s eSIM connectivity. The second image shows that the eSIM can be used in tandem with a physical SIM card.
From the screenshots, we can only see the phone running a 4G network, but we will update this story when we receive a confirmation on 5G support. For additional context, HONOR is yet to bring Wi-Fi calling to the Jio mobile network on the HONOR 90 smartphone.
