WhatsApp developers continue to work on improving the popular instant messaging service, introducing new features and solving bugs encountered by users, all with the aim of guaranteeing an ever richer and more customizable.
And so in the past few hours the release of a new beta version of the application dedicated to Android-based devices has been launched: we are talking about version 2.23.17.8.
The multi-account arrives on WhatsApp
In recent months it has emerged that the WhatsApp team is working on a feature by which users will be able to add other accounts to the same application and with the 2.23.17.8 beta version it has been implemented for some lucky testers.
The new feature allows you to add additional accounts to the messaging app: this is possible by tapping the arrow icon next to the QR code button and, when you add a new account, it stays on your device until you log out of it.
In practice, this new feature will be able to help users keep private chats, business conversations and other types of chats in a single application, separating them from each other (this also affects notifications) and allowing you to switch between one account to another without the need for different devices or parallel applications.
At the moment there is no information on when this new feature will be made available to all users.
