As per the trademark spotted by Galaxy Club doesn’t reveal much except for the name Ironflex and that it’s a foldable display technology. The report states that the new label has been described as a foldable OLED display to be used in foldable smartphones.
A recent Galaxy Z Fold 6 prototype leak revealed that the smartphone will come with a wider zero gap design compared to Galaxy Z Fold 5. The upcoming devices are also rumoured to feature larger displays, the same camera hardware as their predecessors, etc.
Notably, Samsung added dust-resistant along with water resistance on its Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 last year. But keep in mind that this is still a patent and the technology could take a longer time to make an appearance when it comes to consumer ready devices.
